Sorry I'm not sorry...

So it's been determined that I'm not a frequent updater of this blog.  Here's my main issue: it's not that I don't frequently wear makeup or that I don't wear makeup that would warrant a blogpost but it's that in order to post on the blog I have to take several pictures of my own face.  Which can be PAINFULLY difficult at times as I feel many others would agree.  I've realized from these posts that I have a mega lazy eye as well as having super bloodshot red eyes all the time, I also can't smile naturally without looking completely psychotic and when I don't smile I look like a freaking JERK.  It's a hard situation.  I'm trying to get past it.

YOU READ THAT TITLE RIGHT.  At the beginning of the month my bestie Linzee and I braved some pretty shit weather all decked out to go see our favourite Mother Monster, LADY FRIGGIN GAGA (two shows before she announced the cancellation of the rest of the tour due to injury!) and it was EPIC.  I've done a quick recreation of the makeup I wore to the concert, minus the glitter (cause that's a pain in the bottom to remove) and maybe a wee bit less dramatic.  I did a quick pictorial? Picture tutorial? Ya? Maybe? of how I did the makeup.  Hope you enjoy!

Face of the Day 2 - Holiday Party Ready

SNAP!  Another post ya'll!  New holiday collections at work always inspire me to try things I don't usually do with my makeup.  Things such as wearing colour on my eyes, something I don't normally do what with the whole bright red hair thing it seems to be overkill.  However, I enjoyed this look.  It didn't offend me.  Okay bye.

Since my work requires me to wear fancy as hell makeup I figured I may as well use that to help me stay active on my blog.  Entries won't be as long or as ridiculously hilarious but I'll try.  ALSO keep reading until the end because I'm going to include a Tea of the Day (since I have two fabulous friends who purchased me glorious tea for early Christmas presents!  LOVE YOU BROADS!)

Pong! 2 - Holiday Season

Oh heyyyyy!  As you may see from the title this is another collaboration with Cass of http://cass-parade.tumblr.com/ because she's freaking amazing!  The stunning centerpiece she's created inspired by fall vegetation and the colours of the season is an amazing palette for this look.  While I didn't take every colour from the display I used rich purples and bronze as well as a stunning fine smokey gold glitter to recreate the glow Cass achieves in her photos.  I love this display and I cannot believe the beauty of nature that Cass captures, this was an intimidating one my friend!  Ping Pong to the MAX!  For a list of products used and a quick explanation of how I achieved this Holiday look keep reading!
